Admissions Process

We're so excited that you're considering enrollment at Onward! We offer open enrollment (subject to seat capacity), so apply any time!**

**The only exception is Aug. 10-30 when the admissions office is closed for back-to-school preparations (feel free to apply but expect delays).

1.

Attend an Information Meeting or Tour

At least one parent is required to attend an information meeting in order to fully understand our vision and mission, as well as the expectations of families who would like to partner with Onward Christian. A tour also fulfills this requirement. If you missed our information meeting but would like to apply, please contact us at info@onwardchristian.org.

Read through the information on our website

We want all families who attend Onward to fully understand how we function as a collaborative educational community, in addition to our vision and mission, statement of faith, and educational philosophy.

Apply online through ClassReach

Please visit onwardchristian.classreach.com/apply to fill out our application form. There is a $50 application fee associated with the application; instructions to make your payment are found at the end of the application.

Attend a family interview (we will contact you to set up a time)

You will receive an email from us when it is time to schedule your family interview. Both guardians (if applicable) and the student/s being considered for enrollment are recommended to attend the interview. Each family will be prayerfully considered as we determine whether or not our goals and philosophies align to successfully form a compatible partnership.

5.

Acceptance Determination

New families will be considered in the order their applications are turned in, in addition to weighing Onward/family fit and alignment. The Onward team will meet as a committee to review family and student information in order to make a decision on enrollment. Families will be notified within two weeks of the interview with an enrollment determination.

6.

Finalize Placement

Each student will complete a placement assessment at a cost of $45; this is simply to ensure the best fit for your child.

Kindergarten Entry Requirements

Please review our Kindergarten Entry Requirements before filling out your application; students will also complete an academic placement assessment as part of the admissions process.

  1. Turn five by Sept. 30th (exceptions will be considered in rare cases)

  2. Be fully toilet trained

  3. Utilize self-control

  4. Follow instructions
